How to bind MPCard with Alipay

A 5-step walkthrough to link an MPCard virtual Visa to international Alipay. Use the bound card for SaaS subscriptions, cross-border e-commerce, and overseas travel reservations.

Critical distinction first

Mainland China Alipay vs International Alipay behave very differently. Mainland Alipay only accepts cards from mainland Chinese banks and will not bind any foreign card — including all USDT cards. International Alipay (Alipay HK / Alipay TW / Alipay+ overseas) accepts foreign Visa / Mastercard. This guide is for international Alipay.

5-step binding flow

    Alipay will trigger a $1 verification charge. In MPChat you will receive a real-time push notification — approve from there. The test charge is refunded within 24-72 hours.

    Card bound — start using

    Alipay confirms the binding. Use as you would any Visa card; every spend triggers an MPChat push notification with the exact USD amount and the converted USDT deduction.
